Oroville's Brad Freeman Bicycle | Bike Trail Map
This is an extensive trail that encircles Oroville and can be accessed at a number of locations in and around Oroville.

These bicycle trails are located on the east side of the dam on Lake Oroville. They can be best accessed from the parking lot just above the restrooms on the east side of Lake Oroville dam, or from the parking lot at Saddle dam, just off Kelly Ridge Road. These are primarily mountain bicycle trails.

These bicycle trails are located on the west side of the dam on Lake Oroville. They can be best accessed from the cul de sac located just outside the entrance to the parking lot on the west side of the Lake Oroville dam. These are primarily mountain bicycle trails.

These bicycle |bike trails are located below the Lake Oroville Dam on the North and South sides of the water. Those on the north side can be accessed from the cul de sac at the west end of the dam, or from the access just off Cherokee Road near the railroad bridge. Those on the south side can be accessed from the top of the dam on the east side, or several points along the Brad Freeman Trail near the fish hatchery.
Many people enjoy watching cows. The site below identifies the access road and the paths used by cows in this area. Cow watching can be done along the access road where the cowpaths are closest to the access road. Herfords, Angus and other breeds can be seen with close observation.

WEBSITE NAVIGATION:
The upper right dialog box allows you to select/deselect layers. For
example, to see the stree map left mouse click on the satellite image, then on
the apply button and the satellite image is removed to reveal the stree map.The
tool names and functions can be seen by hovering your mouse over the tool icon.
Tools are selected by left clicking on the tool and then on the desired map
location. Elaboration of each tool (from the upper left hand corner) helps
with the navigation process. The center tool will move the point clicked
on the map to the center of the display. The zoom in tool will center the
map to the point clicked and magnify the map. The zoom out tool will
center the map to the point clicked and demagnify the map. The zoom
box tool will display that part of the map selected by pressing and holding the
left mouse button and then dragging it until the displayed box is of the desired
size. Left clicking on the zoom to fit button will restore the map
to its original size. Data for each of the "flag" icons on the map will
appear just below the map if you left click the "i" button, followed by clicking
on the icon of interest. Clicking on the URL in the data will open a photo
taken at that point. Left clicking the browser back button will return you
to the map. The photo can also be seen by double left clicking at the
right speed on the icon.
